You can combo your enemies, attack from the side, and even Dodge attacks, depending on the skill you've gained. Unlike most video games, where you basically hack and slash to do damage to opponents, in Undertale you have a variety of attacks. The monsters in Undertale are very similar to those found in many modern RPGs, but the overall tone is much different. This isn't the first game in the franchise though, and is clearly a follow up on the success enjoyed with the first Undertale game. The boy then meets several monsters along the way, and uses his newfound powers to fight them off and return to the Surface.
